  • At least three years’ experience in bid writing grant fundraising funding research charity fundraising project development impact reporting or professional writing
  • Able to research information carefully and understand funder guidance
  • Able to turn project ideas into clear persuasive written applications
  • Strong written communication with clear plain-English style
  • Good attention to detail and reliable with deadlines
  • Able to receive feedback and make edits
  • Respectful non-judgemental and professional
  • Able to understand confidentiality and boundaries

Nice to have

  • ADHD lived experience
  • Autism lived experience
  • Neurodivergent experience

Day to day

  • Research suitable grants and funding opportunities for the CIC
  • Read funder guidance priorities and eligibility criteria carefully
  • Draft and edit persuasive grant application answers and project descriptions
  • Help shape budgets outcomes and impact statements for funding submissions
