Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
3-5+ years of working experience in busbar product development
Familiar with Rigid, Flexible, Hot Laminated, Insert-molding, Assembly busbars
Experience in interacting with customers during design development
Knowledge of industry standards for server, rail transit, wind power, solar power, electric vehicles
Knowledge of sheet metal, injection molding, welding, plating, dipping, potting, insulation materials
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with safety standards for busbar and power connectors
Skill of 3D design software like Creo, SolidWorks
Proficient in CAE simulation (Ansys) preferred
Must be able to communicate in English

Day to day

Responsible for the Busbar product design and development for Interplex Datacom division.
Understand customer applications and technical requirements for busbar products.
Design or optimize customer original designs for busbar products and output 3D and 2D drawings.
Communicate with customers about DFM & DFA for busbar products.
Assist costing team for busbar projects FRQ and follow prototype production, ensuring qualified products are delivered on time.
Support all testing with QA team and help solve production issues with ME and production team.
