Who you are

  • Technical Application Support experience OR 8 years Business Travel Operations OR Travel Technology OR a combination for a Global Corporate organization
  • Solid Technical knowledge in working with and supporting multiple GDS’s / Point of sale tools / Robotics / Mid / Back office in business travel industry
  • ITIL and/or Salesforce certification a plus
  • Understanding of travel applications and interaction with GDS system preferred
  • Experience in Compleat robotics a plus
  • Knowledge or experience in using a ticketing system is preferred
  • Strong MS Office skills preferred
  • Highly disciplined with good time management skills
  • Expert problem-solving skills
  • Ability to cope with pressure and deliver results
  • Customer and client focused
  • Self-starter and quick learner with adaptability

What the job involves

  • Provide Level 2 Technical Application Support for GBT applications including Travel Counselor Servicing applications & Corporate applications.
  • Manage the resolution of Incidents and requests across the full range of supported applications focusing on timely acknowledgement, prioritization, communication, escalation, analysis, and resolution.
  • Respond to critical incidents application issues, join incident bridges, triage issues and deliver resolutions.
  • Monitor global ticket queues ensuring resolution objectives are met and author Knowledge Articles.
  • Research and solve issues, perform issue severity assessments, and drive problem management with RCAs.
