Requirements
- Experienced leader with a background in sustainability community energy climate action social enterprise or similar
- Passion for community energy and community-led change
- Financially astute with confidence in financial models budgets reporting cashflow and grant requirements
- Strong communicator able to engage government community groups and technical partners
- Collaborative organised and comfortable at strategic and operational levels
- Proactive self-starter who can work independently and drive results
- Interest in the delivery and operation of renewable energy projects
- Knowledge of sustainable energy and experience of energy projects
- Preferably located in or near Staffordshire

Day to day
- Lead the strategic direction of Staffordshire Community Energy and work closely with the Board to shape long-term plans and business growth
- Oversee day-to-day operations with a strong focus on project delivery financial control governance and commercial performance
- Develop a strong pipeline of renewable energy and retrofit projects taking opportunities from early appraisal through investment decision construction and commissioning
- Build partnerships with host sites investors local authorities businesses and community stakeholders while representing the organisation publicly
