Requirements
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in community organizing grassroots engagement membership coordination advocacy or related work
- Experience supervising staff or directing others' work
- Track record managing large stakeholder networks onboarding processes and member-informed programming
- Familiarity with digital organizing and CRM tools such as Salesforce Action Network EveryAction HubSpot or Airtable
- Experience planning and facilitating large group meetings or working groups
- Comfort working in a fully remote or hybrid environment
- Strong writing and editing skills with ability to translate policy detail into clear member-facing language
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel as necessary for conferences or events

Day to day
- Oversee the operations and growth of a national coalition of more than 3,000 newsrooms and journalists
- Build strong relationships with coalition leaders and partner organizations to align goals and deepen engagement
- Plan monthly meetings working groups and member programming while coordinating speakers agendas and cross-team support
- Support advocacy mobilization membership recruitment onboarding and rapid response communications around policy developments
