Requirements
- Graduated from or worked at a top 50 university or top 20 liberal arts college
- Former college admissions officer experience preferred but not mandatory
- Detailed knowledge of the U.S. college admissions process
- Familiarity with universities and colleges
- Willingness to stay current on admissions changes
- Experience in an educational or academic support role
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and students
- Availability during after-school hours and weekends
- Ability to meet with students in international time zones
- Efficient time management organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to commit for one year or the end of the admission cycle

Day to day
- Provide end-to-end college admissions counseling to high school students and their families
- Lead regular 60-minute advising sessions via Zoom and assign meaningful tasks between sessions
- Track deadlines support application milestones and guide students through essays resumes and college list research
- Manage a small cohort of students across grade levels while delivering personalized strategic advice and detailed feedback
