Requirements
- Fully registered medical practitioner on the GMC Specialist Register
- Section 12 approval and membership in the Royal College of Psychiatrists
- Demonstrated experience in preparing psychiatric reports and understanding of mental disorders in court proceedings
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and develop positive professional relationships
Day to day
- Provision of high-quality independent expert witness written reports and oral evidence in both criminal and civil proceedings
- Manage a flexible schedule that accommodates other positions in the NHS or private sector
- Utilize remote assessments to provide convenience and flexibility for both the clinician and the patient
