Who you are

  • Strong technical background in computers and networks and programming skills
  • Significant experience in cyber-security incident management and digital forensics
  • Experience managing rapid deployment incident response teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills
  • Understanding of information security and IT methodologies, principles, technologies, and techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Relevant work experience, degree, or industry certification in computing, networks, or cyber-security

What the job involves

  • The Cyber Response & Recovery Senior Manager role will work in the Cyber Response Services Team within our Risk Consulting practice, directly reporting to the head of cyber response. Cyber security is a major investment and growth area at KPMG, and the role involves managing a broad range of cyber-security incidents and performing digital forensics. The successful candidate will manage incident response case managers and practitioners while assisting clients in building their in-house incident response capabilities.
  • Responsibilities include managing and coordinating cyber-security incidents, performing digital forensics, advising clients on the threat landscape, developing in-house cyber-response tools, improving client incident response capabilities, and project management of engagements to deliver high-quality work.
  • The role also involves assessing client incident response capability maturity, generating well-structured responses to bids and proposals, and ensuring continuous development in operational efficiency and team learning.
