Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience with at least 1 year in integration platform or infrastructure work
- Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python Go or Java
- Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms including compute storage networking and managed services
- Experience building and operating ETL or ELT pipelines with schema management and data quality monitoring
- Working experience with AI-assisted development tools in a professional engineering context
- Strong written communication skills for ADRs runbooks and design documents

Day to day
- Audit existing analytics applications to understand technology choices data flows and integration points
- Design and implement APIs event streams and shared data contracts so siloed applications can interoperate
- Build shared platform services such as authentication observability configuration management and logging to reduce duplication
- Develop a unified presentation layer over heterogeneous compute environments including Spark and relational databases
- Collaborate with domain teams and DevOps SRE to define integration patterns deployment pipelines and reliability standards
