Requirements
- Law degree LLB GDL PGDL or equivalent legal qualification
- Experience as a Paralegal or in a similar legal role
- Exposure to data privacy or data protection matters
- Knowledge of UK and EU GDPR and core data protection principles
- Experience supporting a data privacy compliance programme
- Experience handling data subject rights requests
- Ability to engage influence and advise stakeholders at all levels
- Genuine interest in privacy law and data protection
Nice to have
- Tech or digital business experience
- US data privacy experience
Day to day
- Support the Legal & Information Security team with day-to-day privacy operations and compliance tasks
- Handle data subject rights requests, privacy queries, complaints, and personal data incidents within statutory timeframes
- Prepare and maintain privacy documentation such as ROPA DPIAs LIAs policies training materials and reports while working with stakeholders across the business
