Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science engineering information systems or related field
- Five years' experience in information technology or engineering
- Strong database administration experience across enterprise environments
- Deep expertise with PostgreSQL including tuning and enterprise features
- Experience with relational and NoSQL database design concepts
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud database services and Terraform
- Experience with Cloud SQL AlloyDB and Spanner
- Experience with minimal-downtime database migrations using DMS Datastream or GoldenGate
- Proficiency with Python Bash or Go for automation and scripting
- Experience with schema migration tools and CI/CD deployment pipelines
- Experience with monitoring alerting and dashboarding tools
- Ability to perform complex root cause analysis and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical problem-solving documentation and communication skills
- Ability to mentor junior DBAs and guide technical teams
