Requirements
- 5+ years in Software Engineering SRE or Technical Consulting
- Strong proficiency in at least two major languages such as Java Python Go Node.js or C#
- Deep understanding of NoSQL distributed systems and SQL-based query languages such as N1QL
- Experience deploying large-scale distributed databases or data-intensive applications
- Comfortable working with cloud environments Kubernetes OpenShift and networking concepts
- Ability to explain complex technical trade-offs to developers and executive stakeholders

Day to day
- Act as an embedded technical partner within customer engineering teams to deliver mission-critical outcomes.
- Write production-grade code, build integrations and APIs, and configure Couchbase products for performance, reliability, and scale.
- Design and troubleshoot advanced distributed data architectures for AI-driven use cases, including vector search and RAG patterns.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to translate business needs into technical milestones, surface product feedback, and identify expansion opportunities.
