Requirements
- Strong current Angular experience with Angular 16+ standalone components signals and modern control flow syntax
- Deep familiarity with Storybook 8+ CSF3 and Chromatic in the Angular ecosystem
- Substantive prior experience on a design system or internal platform team
- Strong CSS and front-end fundamentals with deep accessibility knowledge including WCAG ARIA focus management and screen reader behavior
- Taste and product sense in component API design
- Working comfort with AI-assisted engineering workflows
- Comfort reading unfamiliar codebases and reasoning about component semantics from code alone

Day to day
- Audit an existing Angular component codebase to identify reusable primitives and duplicated patterns.
- Evaluate and extend an inherited Storybook setup, upgrading it to current standards and publishing it with Chromatic.
- Document component behavior honestly, highlight accessibility issues, and create a canonical reference set for the design team to rebuild the Figma library.
