  • 4+ years building or implementing design systems professionally
  • Personally built and maintained a token-based system
  • Expert-level Figma skills for design track
  • React and Storybook experience for engineering track
  • Familiarity with Tailwind Style Dictionary and CVA is a plus
  • Strong written English with precise critique ability
  • Comfortable with AI design tools or eager to learn
  • Available for async remote contract work
  • Available to start immediately

Day to day

  • Build production-grade design systems used to evaluate AI design tools
  • Create and implement token-based systems and component libraries in Figma or code
  • Test how well AI systems ingest and reproduce design systems while maintaining strict adherence to specs
  • Work across design product and engineering tracks to catch errors critique implementations and shape high-quality interfaces
