Requirements

  • 7–10 years of professional software development experience with strong current hands-on .NET C# skills
  • Solid experience with SQL Server queries stored procedures and relational data modelling
  • Proven experience designing building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party systems and data sources
  • Demonstrable experience leading mentoring or line-managing engineers and developing their careers
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted and agentic development tooling such as Claude Code GitHub Copilot or similar
  • Strong system design and architecture judgement with the ability to explain pragmatic trade-offs
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills across distributed systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication for a remote distributed team
  • Comfortable balancing hands-on delivery with leadership responsibilities

Day to day

  • Lead a small team of four developers while staying deeply hands-on in .NET and SQL Server delivery.
  • Build and own complex integrations with third-party registry APIs and customer systems across a distributed global platform.
  • Drive the adoption of agentic AI tooling and practical engineering standards that improve speed quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with the CTO product compliance and customer-facing teams to deliver resilient well-documented solutions.
