Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in DevOps or cloud engineering roles focusing on cloud infrastructure and security
- Proficiency with GCP and AWS
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Knowledge of event messaging systems like Kafka
- Deep understanding of cloud security practices and frameworks like ISO 27001 and SOC 2
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
- Experience managing relational databases in cloud environments
Nice to have
- Experience in FinTech or payments industry
- Familiarity with Open Banking standards and regulations
Day to day
- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across GCP and AWS, ensuring security and high availability.
- Automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring of infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation, deploying containerised applications using Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to deploy and operate applications, optimising performance and maintaining detailed technical documentation for infrastructure and processes.
