Requirements

2+ years of experience provisioning operating and managing AWS environments
Proficiency with AWS services including ECS EC2 S3 and CloudFront
Experience designing and supporting multi-tier architectures
Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language
Experience with Git in a CI/CD environment
Understanding of REST APIs and microservices-based architectures
Experience building and deploying services on Kubernetes
Knowledge of operating system administration
Familiarity with Elasticsearch and Redis
Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases
Experience working in Agile development environments with distributed teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong sense of ownership and accountability

Day to day

Build and deploy application code through established release engineering processes.
Manage and automate AWS infrastructure while supporting servers storage networking and security operations.
Collaborate with developers QA and system administrators to improve CI/CD pipelines system reliability and microservice delivery.
