Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role
- Demonstrated track record of solving problems holistically and identifying real bottlenecks
- Genuine fluency in agile and DevOps ways of working
- Strong sense of agency and learning agility
- Ability to review refactor and harden prototype or AI-generated code into secure production-grade systems
- Proficiency with scripting and development languages such as Python JavaScript TypeScript Kotlin or Java
- CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure-as-code experience
- Experience with security tooling including dependency scanning SAST DAST and vulnerability management
- Strong API design and troubleshooting skills
- Comfort partnering with non-technical teams to make what they build maintainable

Day to day
- Find and remove bottlenecks across engineering and the wider business using practical DevOps and agile thinking
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code that ship work reliably and securely
- Review and harden prototype and AI-generated apps from non-engineering teams into secure production-grade systems
- Add authentication tests dependency scanning secret scanning and deployment paths to department-built tools before they handle real data
- Strengthen DevSecOps practices through vulnerability management security testing and close partnership with cross-functional teams
