Requirements

  • Strong experience administering and securing Linux hosts on virtual and physical infrastructure
  • Experience managing infrastructure with Ansible and production roles/playbooks
  • Experience using Terraform
  • Experience configuring managing and securing public cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience administering containerised applications using Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience administering IP networking in a corporate environment
  • Experience automating tasks using Bash Python JavaScript and GitHub Actions
  • Knowledge of security testing and monitoring tools such as SAST and SIEM
  • Knowledge of monitoring tooling for application and infrastructure metrics such as Prometheus Datadog and Open Telemetry

Nice to have

  • Incident response experience
  • Application security mindset

Day to day

  • Ensure the reliability and security of core infrastructure across a hybrid cloud environment.
  • Automate deployment operation and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools.
  • Support development teams with robust self-service infrastructure solutions and strengthen pipeline security and monitoring.
