Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
- Required minimum 4 years of embedded software or related engineering experience
- Proficiency in embedded C/C++ and version control with Git/GitHub
- Experience with real-time operating environments such as FreeRTOS or MQX
- Strong understanding of hardware/software integration and system-level design
- Ability to work independently through design coding testing debugging implementation and documentation
- Ability to read schematics datasheets reference manuals and interface documentation
- Experience with embedded debug tools such as JTAG oscilloscopes logic analyzers and serial or protocol analyzers
- Experience integrating technologies such as Bluetooth BLE UART SPI I2C USB or Ethernet
- Demonstrated new board bring-up and low-level hardware/software debug experience

Day to day
- Design and develop embedded software for new and existing products, including enhancements and customer-specific configurations.
- Bring up new hardware platforms by initializing and verifying microcontrollers, memory, clocks, interrupts, and peripheral devices.
- Develop and debug low-level drivers and board support software while diagnosing hardware/software integration issues across the product lifecycle.
