Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years of embedded software development for Linux-based systems
  • Hands-on experience with Xilinx UltraScale+ platforms
  • Hands-on experience with PetaLinux including image creation kernel and device tree configuration and rootfs management
  • Experience working with PCB-based embedded hardware and lab-based debug
  • Proficiency in C C++ and scripting with Bash and/or Python
  • Proficiency in SVN Git or similar configuration management tools
  • Experience debugging Linux kernel and user-space interactions and hardware-software integration issues
  • Comfortable using JTAG UART console logic analyzer oscilloscope and Linux tools such as gdb strace perf and dmesg
  • U.S. Citizenship and active DoD Secret or higher clearance or ability to obtain

Day to day

  • Develop embedded Linux software for Xilinx UltraScale+ platforms using PetaLinux and related tooling
  • Support hardware bring-up and integration on custom PCB-based embedded systems, validating boards and troubleshooting peripherals
  • Implement drivers, optimize performance-critical applications, and collaborate with FPGA, DSP, RF, and hardware teams on mission-critical systems
