Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related subject area
  • At least 3 years of embedded software design and implementation experience in C/C++
  • At least 2 years of Linux OS use ideally in an embedded environment
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP and common network configuration
  • Object-oriented software development experience
  • Agile Scrum development experience
  • Ability to plan track and report on progress
  • Good oral and written communication skills

Day to day

  • Analyze software requirements and create high level and detailed designs for embedded and application software.
  • Implement integrate and test code from driver level C through application logic and user interface layers using HTML and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with an Agile Scrum team to deliver embedded software for multiple SATCOM modems while supporting field issues and producing operations documentation.
