Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years of PQE in employment law
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, settlement agreements and tribunal procedures
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven track record of managing a busy caseload effectively

Day to day

  • Handle a varied caseload of both contentious and non-contentious employment law and HR matters, with a strong bias towards advising individuals
  • Work on cases, advising on aspects of employment law such as Employment Rights Act 1996, Equality Act 2010 rights and claims, settlement agreements, and employment contracts, policies, and procedures
  • Draft, review, and advise on legal documents, including settlement agreements, contracts, policies, and tribunal pleadings
  • Undertake litigation and negotiating on behalf of clients, keeping up to date with new developments in employment legislation
  • Develop strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives
