Requirements
- Strong full-stack engineering background with Laravel/PHP across monolith and microservices
- People leadership including hiring mentoring and performance management
- Experience leading engineering transformation while keeping a live revenue-generating platform running
- Strong API design and system architecture experience
- Production experience with MySQL Couchbase or MongoDB and Redis
- GCP experience deploying and operating live services at scale
- Ability to balance legacy support with investment in target architecture
- Startup or scale-up experience operating with ambiguity and limited resources
Nice to have
- MACH migration experience
- Composable architecture experience
- Multi-cloud perspective
- Comfortable beyond PHP
Day to day
- Lead the engineering function across live platform operations and long-term transformation, balancing stability with progress.
- Own delivery, operational resilience, and engineering standards across Buyer, Seller, and Platform squads.
- Coach Tech Leads and engineering teams, set accountability, manage capacity, and support hiring and succession planning.
