Remote Engineering Manager - API Experiences Job in United States Confluent

Who you are

• 10+ years of software development experience with 2+ years in management
• Experience in building and designing resilient systems at scale using hyperscale CSPs (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Expertise in designing, building, and scaling APIs and programmatic interfaces (CLI, SDK, Terraform)
• Understanding of API governance frameworks and best practices for ensuring API consistency, security, and reliability
• Effective communication and collaborative techniques to influence team and management
• Ability to hire, motivate, coach/mentor engineers, and manage performance
• Excellent prioritization and timely feature shipping skills
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

• Proven track record in contributing to or maintaining open-source projects
• Ability to build and foster a strong developer community
