Requirements

  • 2-3+ years in a technical leadership or management role
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience

  • Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP containerization and Infrastructure as Code
  • Strong proficiency in Python SQL and familiarity with TypeScript or React
  • Excellent leadership mentoring and cross-functional communication skills
  • Ability to make decisions with incomplete or ambiguous data

Day to day

  • Lead and mentor a small team of software engineers, offering technical direction, coaching, and performance feedback to help them grow and deliver reliably
  • Oversee the design and delivery of user-facing product experiences, scalable backend services, and APIs that support the consumer platform
  • Collaborate with product, design, program management, and other stakeholders to translate roadmap goals into practical engineering execution
  • Manage priorities across a modern cloud-native stack including Python FastAPI PostgreSQL AWS GCP TypeScript React and related tools while supporting agile team rituals
