Requirements
- 3+ years of engineering management experience
- Strong project management skills with comfort in management practices
- Experience with .NET ecosystem
- Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures algorithms asynchronous programming and memory management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- Strong communicator capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical staff and having constructive conversations with team members
- Ability to write understandable testable code with maintainability in mind
- Experience leading high-functioning productive teams
Nice to have
- Windows desktop or native application development experience
- Experience with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
- Experience with Windows Forms (WinForms) development
Day to day
- Lead a small to mid-sized team focusing on project management and team productivity
- Track team's efficiency and quality of work adjusting processes to ensure timely delivery
- Identify bottlenecks and unblock roadblocks for team success
- Write and deliver software while engaging in feature development bug fixes and maintenance
- Mentor and provide career guidance to engineers on the team
- Collaborate with peers to develop a long-term vision for engineering practices and tooling
- Assist support team in triaging and resolving production issues
- Participate in defining and fulfilling engineering hiring plan
