Requirements
- 12+ years of industry experience with progressive growth in responsibility
- 4+ years of technical leadership and managing teams of 6 or more engineers
- Experience working on or leading a customer-facing web application team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and high emotional intelligence
- Growth-minded and resilient with the ability to learn quickly
- Proven ability to lead predictable delivery using Agile frameworks
- Ability to lead technical discovery and influence architectural decisions
- Experience scaling engineering productivity through developer experience automation internal tooling or AI-assisted workflows
- Strong capability in managing technical debt strategically
- Hands-on skills in at least one of Go C# or TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of React and modern frontend patterns
- Solid experience with HTML CSS accessibility browser APIs performance optimization build tools and testing frameworks
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and modern web protocols and technologies
- Experience building and operating highly scalable cloud-hosted applications and services
- Experience with service-oriented and microservices architectures in a containerized environment
- Amazon AWS experience
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD integration
- Experience using cross-platform libraries/frameworks
- Strong understanding of observability practices
- Experience with modern monitoring and tracing tools

Day to day
- Leads engineering teams through the full software development lifecycle for a customer-facing web application
- Manages and mentors engineers and tech leads day to day while setting goals, removing blockers, and driving accountability
- Partners closely with product, architecture, quality engineering, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions
