Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on coding and architecture design
- 2+ years managing distributed software engineering teams
- Strong C# and .NET experience including ASP.NET Core Web APIs
- Experience with relational databases and Entity Framework
- Strong Azure experience including Functions Queues Event Hub Service Bus and App Services
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects over months of development
- Experience coaching and mentoring engineers at different levels
- Comfort moving between 1-on-1s and pull request reviews
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve workflows
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Day to day
- Lead a team of API engineers building and maintaining core payment services in C# and ASP.NET Core.
- Write, review, and ship production code daily while owning technical direction, architecture decisions, and incident response.
- Partner with product and engineering leaders to prioritize work, remove risks, improve delivery practices, and strengthen developer experience.
