Requirements

5–8 years building enterprise-grade SaaS applications
At least 2 years formal people management or tech lead experience
Experience leading teams of five or more engineers
Track record delivering complex software products on time and high quality
Full-stack background with data and API products in production
Working proficiency with Claude Code CLI or similar AI code generation tooling
Hands-on experience managing engineers in AI-assisted workflows
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with data-driven application design and scalability patterns
Working knowledge of SQL and modern NoSQL approaches
Time zone flexibility for globally distributed teams

Day to day

Lead and develop a team of full-stack engineers through coaching feedback and career development conversations
Plan and facilitate agile ceremonies while monitoring delivery metrics velocity and code quality to spot risks early
Own AI workflow adoption and guide AI-assisted code review practices to maintain high standards of quality and maintainability
Provide technical direction across frontend and backend work review solution designs and balance feature delivery with platform health
Own roadmap execution and backlog prioritisation with product and cross-functional stakeholders to help ensure work ships
Support recruiting onboarding and process improvements that strengthen team efficiency and scaling in a globally distributed environment
