Requirements
- Completed technical degree or equivalent qualification
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on development background
- 2–3+ years leading cross-functional engineering teams
- Strong technical foundation across Java backend React Native and React Web
- Experience with cloud infrastructure CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience leading and motivating development teams
- Demonstrated ability to hire develop and retain engineering talent
- Strong background working within agile development frameworks
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience

Day to day
- Lead a cross-functional team of 3–8 engineers building user-facing services across onboarding benefits discovery rewards and employer or merchant portals
- Shape the roadmap with Product and Design translate user and business needs into practical software and keep delivery moving with clarity
- Own quality reliability and technical execution while improving standards documentation CI/CD and collaboration across teams
