Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience including hands-on coding and architectural design
- 2+ years managing distributed software engineering teams
- Strong C# and .NET experience including ASP.NET Core Web APIs
- Experience with relational databases and Entity Framework
- Strong Azure experience including Functions Queues Event Hub Service Bus and App Services
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects spanning months
- Experience coaching and mentoring engineers at various levels
- Comfortable balancing team management with code review and technical work
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve workflows
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Day to day
- Lead a team of 4 engineers building and maintaining core API services for cross-border payments and partner integrations.
- Write, review, and ship production C# and .NET code daily while setting technical direction for your team’s domain.
- Drive architecture decisions for versioning error handling authentication scalability and incident response in a high-reliability financial platform.
- Coach engineers through mentoring code reviews 1-on-1s and process improvements while partnering with product and engineering leadership.
