Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on coding and architectural design
- 2+ years managing distributed software engineering teams
- Strong C# and .NET experience including ASP.NET Core Web APIs
- Experience with relational databases and Entity Framework
- Strong Azure experience including Functions Queues Event Hub Service Bus and App Services
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects over months of development
- Experience coaching and mentoring engineers at multiple levels
- Comfortable balancing 1-on-1s and pull request reviews
- Experience using modern AI-assisted development tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Day to day
- Lead a small API engineering team building reliable cross-border payment services and partner-facing integrations.
- Write, review, and ship production C# and .NET code every day while driving architecture decisions for scalability, versioning, authentication, and error handling.
- Coach engineers, improve delivery processes, and guide incident response to strengthen API reliability and developer experience.
