Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 4+ years managing or leading software engineering teams in distributed systems
- Proven cross-functional leadership across multiple departments
- Strong project management and scoping skills under shifting constraints
- Clear stakeholder communication and expectation setting
- Experience using Claude Code or similar AI-assisted engineering tools
- Experience with advanced DevOps CI/CD and continuous delivery
- Experience designing scalable event-driven streaming microservices
- Experience with high-availability fault-tolerant platforms and reusable cloud components
- Hands-on public cloud experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies
- Proficiency in one or more core languages such as Golang Java .NET or C#
- Experience or strong interest in cloud-native cybersecurity and CNAPP

Day to day
- Lead and mentor a high-performing development team building Sysdig's next-generation CSPM product
- Drive planning execution and delivery of sprint commitments while aligning team priorities with organizational goals
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across product security and infrastructure teams to resolve dependencies and deliver strategic projects
- Guide architecture for multitenant cloud-native data processing microservices and contribute hands-on code reviews and coding when needed
- Champion AI-native engineering workflows using Claude Code to automate testing maintenance code review support and boilerplate generation
