Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience
- 2+ years managing engineering teams
- Experience managing multiple teams or a team of teams
- Strong architectural depth in billing systems API design and product infrastructure
- Experience with Node.js TypeScript PostgreSQL AWS and Stripe or equivalent payment infrastructure
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced startup environment
- Player-coach mindset with hands-on technical leadership
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Day to day
- Lead the Merchants engineering function across Core and Growth teams, shaping technical direction and team health.
- Own architecture and delivery for billing, invoicing, checkout, dashboard, and the delivery promise engine.
- Partner with product, design, customer success, and data teams to turn strategy into reliable, enterprise-ready merchant experiences.
