Requirements
- 8+ years in backend or product engineering
- 1-3 years in engineering leadership
- Principal level IC background before management
- Proven production experience with AI LLM or RAG features
- Strong OOP fundamentals with Java experience
- Comfortable designing technical interviews and evaluating senior candidates
- EMEA based and able to work CET or CEST hours
- Able to travel for onsites roughly once every 2 months

Day to day
- Get into the codebase quickly and ship features as an IC-first engineering leader
- Work directly with the CTO/Co-Founder while staying close to product and technical decisions
- Own hiring technical interviews and team growth as the engineering team scales
- Lead one to one conversations unblock teammates and build a high trust people first culture
