- 8+ years as an engineer shipping products or features with downstream business impact
- 2+ years managing people and developing engineers including hiring mentorship and performance management
- Strong technical background in system design architecture and engineering tradeoffs
- Product-oriented mindset with experience translating business goals and user needs into engineering roadmaps and shipped features
- Ability to balance urgency with thoughtful execution while maintaining high quality
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering product and design
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for team outcomes and long-term system health

Day to day
- Lead a team of product engineers building the core developer experience of the Render platform
- Partner with product and design to translate customer needs into scalable high quality technical solutions
- Guide technical direction and architectural tradeoffs while helping the team ship meaningful improvements quickly
- Develop engineers through mentorship feedback and clear technical guidance
- Break down complex problems into incremental milestones and foster ownership accountability and continuous improvement
