Requirements
- 6+ years in software engineering and 2+ years in people leadership
- Experience managing 3+ direct reports
- Strong TypeScript fundamentals and modern JavaScript framework experience
- Backend experience with Node Python or Ruby
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines deploy infrastructure and developer tooling
- Experience leading agile processes
- Enthusiasm for AI tooling and emerging developer workflows
- Ability to write well-scoped tickets with clear acceptance criteria
- Experience with marketing and analytics pixels Google Tag Manager and marketing tech ops
- Cloud experience with GCP preferred
- Strong cross-functional communication and influence skills
- Bachelor's Degree required

Day to day
- Lead two engineering squads focused on storefront experience and lead generation across a custom Shopify Hydrogen build and experimentation programs.
- Stay hands-on with storefront performance, Web Vitals, bug fixes, tooling, and microservices when needed to unblock delivery.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, Marketing, eCommerce, and Data to ship high-quality, measurable improvements while guiding engineers' growth.
