Requirements
- Prior experience managing engineers or leading with significant people management scope including 1:1s feedback and performance conversations
- Strong delivery leadership with the ability to run planning prioritize well communicate tradeoffs and keep commitments realistic
- Strong technical judgment in modern web systems
- Experience with ASP.NET Core C# and TypeScript JavaScript in production is a bonus
- Comfort operating systems in cloud environments and modern CI/CD practices
- Azure preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication and a bias for collaboration in a cross-functional Agile environment

Day to day
- Lead a team of about four engineers to build and operate web platforms for cancer-screening experiences.
- Balance people management with delivery ownership and technical leadership to keep products reliable secure and delightful.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and a Staff Engineer to translate ambiguity into clear plans scoped work and strong execution.
- Champion release safety monitoring runbooks and operational ownership for the systems your team builds.
