Remote Enterprise Information Security Architect Job in Albany, NY Ryder System, Inc.

Who you are

• Extensive experience in architecting and deploying distributed, high mission-critical security solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 10+ years in an Information Security Architect role.
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST 800/CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT.
• Experience with DevSecOps processes.
• Advanced knowledge of network and security technologies including protocols, design concepts, encryption, and access control.
• Expertise in using analytical skills, tools, and techniques.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Linux systems.
• One or more Information Security Certifications such as CISSP, GIAC.

What the job involves

• Develop and implement Information Security architecture and technology solutions to meet security and compliance requirements.
• Review existing security architecture, identify design gaps, and recommend enhancements.
• Stay abreast of emerging security threats and technologies to integrate them into the security architecture.
• Provide leadership in designing logical and physical InfoSec systems and ensure they align with existing architectures.
• Collaborate across business areas to provide direction for security in future IT projects.
• Serve as an information security expert and trusted advisor to both IT and business partners.
• Lead projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget.
• Develop and maintain blueprints and design plans for security architecture.
• Effectively communicate complex security issues to diverse audiences.
