Remote Enterprise Information Security Architect Job in Annapolis, MD Ryder System, Inc.

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field required.
• Master's degree in related field preferred.
• 10+ years in IT/Security Architect role or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience with industry and information security frameworks (NIST 800/CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT).
• Experience with DevSecOps processes (RUP, Agile, Waterfall).
• Analytical skills and techniques to investigate information and draw conclusions.
• Experience with enterprise security architecture standards, processes & tools.
• Expertise in network technologies including protocols, design concepts, and access control.
• Proficiency in security technologies including encryption, data protection, access privileges.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Linux systems required.
• One or more Information Security Certifications (CISSP, GIAC, etc.) required.

What the job involves

• Develop and implement Information Security architecture and technology enterprise solutions to address the current and emerging information security and compliance requirements of the organization.
• Architect and deploy distributed, high mission critical security solutions.
• Review existing security architecture, identify design gaps, and recommend security enhancements.
• Serve as an information security expert and trusted advisor to IT and business partners.
• Stay abreast of current and emerging security threats and security technologies to mitigate and integrate them into the security architecture.
