Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering construction or related field or equivalent field experience
- 10-15 years preconstruction or estimating experience in mechanical piping plumbing sheet metal or HVAC
- Prior leadership experience as Chief Estimator Preconstruction Manager Regional Preconstruction Director or Senior Estimator at a $100M+ contractor
- Experience with hyperscale data centers semiconductor or advanced manufacturing large healthcare or mission-critical projects
- Strong knowledge of negotiated and GMP environments
- Experience developing preconstruction playbooks
- Proven commitment to ethics and safety
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in English with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to travel 40-60% by plane or car

Day to day
- Lead enterprise preconstruction support across multiple operating companies to improve estimating rigor and margin performance
- Assess maturity in estimating, bid/no-bid decisions, contingency logic, risk registers, and productivity assumptions
- Travel nationwide to coach teams, share best practices, strengthen procurement alignment, and support acquisitions or turnarounds
