Who you are

• Experience in Family Law in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of Paralegal experience working in Family Law
• Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision
• High proficiency in MS Suite including Word and G Suite
• Able to learn new systems quickly and be comfortable with technology
• Responsive and adaptable
• Paralegal Certificate preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

What the job involves

• Review court documents with Clients to ensure accuracy and understanding
• Collect signatures and execute court filings and service of process
• Perform regular case reviews with attorneys to ensure accurate case status updates, collection and calendaring of court dates and deadlines
• Partner with our Customer Support team to handle and resolve client questions and escalations
• Maintain routine communications with clients about case status
• Gather relevant information from a variety of sources
• Work as part of a team with all levels of experiences
• Provide assistance to other departments as required
