What the job involves
- Support Upstream’s financial planning by preparing reports for donors investors and leaders.
- Guide organization leaders through budgeting cycles and financial reviews.
- Research and explain financial performance variances and generate actionable insights.
- Collaborate with Development and Accounting departments to prepare accurate financial reports for donors.
- Assist in preparing finance presentations for the Board of Directors and serve as a finance thought partner.
- Produce recurring and ad hoc financial reports and analyses using Vena and Power BI tools.
- Develop training materials to enhance financial literacy among staff.
- Seek opportunities to automate and simplify financial systems and processes.
- Support implementation and roll-out of FP&A systems and lead end-user training.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
