Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or CPA (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a financial leadership role, preferably in the B2B payments or fintech sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Proficient in accounting software and systems, with a preference for candidates with experience in ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit/experience with a strong growth mindset.
  • Adaptable and comfortable with a fast-paced environment.
  • Active relationship builder who can collaborate with internal and external teams to consistently improve processes and communication workflows.

What the job involves

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP/IFRS standards. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Lead the budgeting and financial forecasting processes, providing detailed analysis to support strategic decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Monitor and manage the company's cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for business operations.
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance, ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns.
  • Collaborate with the product and sales teams to develop pricing strategies for our products and services. Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to ensure our offerings remain competitive while also meeting our financial objectives.
  • Manage and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
