Requirements
- Solid experience and understanding of tech such as HTML CSS and JS
- Embrace best practices for SEO
- Good Understanding of package management (npm) and build tools (gulp)
- React Typescript
Nice to have
- Use Shopify’s Admin and Storefront API’s (GraphQL REST)
- Custom Shopify App development
- Shopify’s Polaris
- Experience with Figma
- Experience with command line tools (Shopify CLI)
- Commercial experience with Shopify Liquid
- Championing coding standards
- Experience with legacy JS libraries
Day to day
- Building and extending in-house Shopify themes and delivering extensions e.g. Checkout Validation Custom Discounts
- Improving & maintaining website performance and accessibility
- Clearly documenting & educating stakeholders on new features or changes to the platform
- Assessing the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs in Shopify
- Harmonious collaboration both internally and externally
- Keeping up to date with Shopify technologies and tooling
