Who you are

  • Solid experience and understanding of tech such as HTML CSS and JS
  • Embrace best practices for SEO
  • Good Understanding of package management (npm) and build tools (gulp)
  • React Typescript

Desirables

  • Use Shopify’s Admin and Storefront API’s (GraphQL REST)
  • Custom Shopify App development
  • Shopify’s Polaris
  • Experience with Figma
  • Experience with command line tools (Shopify CLI)
  • Commercial experience with Shopify Liquid
  • Championing coding standards
  • Experience with legacy JS libraries


What the job involves

  • Building and extending in-house Shopify themes and delivering extensions e.g. Checkout Validation Custom Discounts
  • Improving & maintaining website performance and accessibility
  • Clearly documenting & educating stakeholders on new features or changes to the platform
  • Assessing the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs in Shopify
  • Harmonious collaboration both internally and externally
  • Keeping up to date with Shopify technologies and tooling
