  • Production frontend you designed and built yourself with links to show it
  • Strong with a server-rendered component-based stack
  • Fluent in Tailwind or similar utility CSS
  • Experience with a real design tool like Figma
  • Fluent in English written and spoken
  • Self-directed and able to turn vague requests into a plan and ship it
  • Ability to include Octopus Tentacle in the application

Day to day

  • Design and ship features from Figma to merged PR using ViewComponents, Stimulus, Tailwind, and Hotwire.
  • Own the dashboard, API playground, docs, and marketing experience for a developer-facing product.
  • Create calm, polished, data-dense interfaces with honest charts, strong typography, and thoughtful interaction details.
  • Clean up frontend complexity over time by reducing bundle size, removing dead CSS, and maintaining a coherent component system.
