Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a frontend engineer
- Fluency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and related web technology
- Deep understanding of at least one modern front-end framework (React)
- Proven technical leadership in shipping great products, hands-on engineering, and leading critical projects to production
- Strong product sense and intuition
- Passion for building great user experiences and achieving real-world impact
Nice to have
- Passion for the restaurant industry or restaurant technology
- Experience writing code that meets accessibility standards and best practices
- Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration, and automated testing
- Experience building products from 0 to 1 in an unstructured environment
- Roll up your sleeves mentality with experience working in a fast paced, collaborative, highly ambiguous environment
Day to day
- Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to build new features and lead the expansion of Wonders into new verticals
- Work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment where you will always be learning
- Solve real business needs by turning product ideas into engineering solutions
- Participate in every step of the product development process with an open and curious team
- Be metrics and data-driven and think creatively to help Wonders scale and prepare for the new verticals we will enter
- Help to establish and influence engineering processes, tools, and systems to scale the code base and accelerate product velocity
- Collaborate with other leaders to source and recruit the best talent for Wonders
