Requirements

  • Shipped multiple TypeScript features to production across backend and frontend
  • Experience with Node.js and ideally Python
  • Experience with React or Next.js and advanced types
  • Designed and shipped REST APIs and written GraphQL queries mutations and basic resolvers
  • Worked with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
  • Worked with Kubernetes and Docker
  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code with Terraform Helm or similar
  • Worked with Azure AWS or another major cloud platform
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline configuration and maintenance
  • Used Grafana or similar monitoring tools in production
  • Worked effectively in a fast-moving distributed team
  • Uses AI-assisted development tooling effectively

Day to day

  • Deliver features and fixes across the frontend and backend to a consistently good standard, working independently on well-understood problems and engaging the team when facing genuinely new territory
  • Write clean tested maintainable code and participate seriously in code review through giving and receiving constructive feedback
  • Contribute to technical design conversations and learn to reason about trade-offs while owning work end to end including testing documentation and blocker management
  • Debug production issues using logs metrics and tracing tools and build wider platform knowledge across infrastructure deployment pipelines and observability over time
