Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience across frontend and backend systems
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React
- Backend service experience in at least one language such as Java Kotlin Python or Go
- Strong understanding of distributed systems data pipelines and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with continuous delivery observability defensive programming and automated testing
- Experience with containers CI/CD and infrastructure as code
- Ability to work through ambiguity and ship iteratively
- Strong communication skills with cross-functional partners
Day to day
- Own full stack features end-to-end for a creator-facing video platform serving a global audience
- Design develop and operate backend services and scalable data pipelines using Java or Kotlin
- Build engaging frontend experiences with React and TypeScript while improving reliability scalability and performance
- Collaborate with Product Design Data Science and Engineering to solve complex video publishing and content operations problems
- Contribute to shared libraries engineering standards and best practices across the organization
- Act as a technical leader and advocate for engineering quality within the team
